Christine Marie Joanne Migliore Stevens, age 77 born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on September 14, 1944 passed away on January 23, 2022 at Loma Linda Hospital, Murrieta, CA from complications from COVID. At the time of death, Christine resided in Hemet, CA. In 1943, her parents, Lillian and Lawrence were working for the Army at the Italian Internment Camp in Florence, Arizona. When Italy capitulated and the camp was transitioned to German POWs, Lillian went to New Mexico and had Christine at a tribal hospital in Santa Fe. They returned to Milwaukee where Christine lived for the next 7 years. The family moved to Southern California in 1951. Christine would attend several schools in and around the Norwalk area where she met her lifelong friend, Pam (Kish) Wagner in the Second Grade. Christine began her family in Dec 1961 and in a short time migrated to Orange County where she would stay for 23 years. She married Alex Lopez in Mexico and later Los Angeles and had 2 sons. Divorced and married Max R. Stevens on Nov 17, 1970 and had a daughter. Later had 2 daughters with James D. Conley. She has always made her children her biggest priority and made most decisions for her life based on what was best for them. In 1994, she moved to Layton Utah where she resided until she relocated back to California in 2004. From 2004 to 2012, she lived in the Dana Point / San Clemente area. From 2013 to 2014 she lived in Maricopa, Arizona. In late 2014 she went to Sun City, California to care for her aging mother who died in 2017. Christine remained in the Hemet area until her death. Christine was active in her local Catholic Churches and Schools, a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America, and an all around wonderful citizen. She was active at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center where she met Lonzo Rogers who became a life partner. She leaves behind numerous friends from the Senior Center. She made friends in every neighborhood and was invested in her community. Through her working career she would go on to meet many wonderful people including Freda Allison who remained her friend until the end. Her favorite place was the beach! As a family, we have many fond memories on the sands of Huntington Beach. Christine loved dolphins and took every opportunity to visit them. Her family was her most important reason for life. Her dedication and attentiveness to family and friends will live on forever in the hearts and minds of generations to come. Christine is survived by her five loving children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, preceded in death by father Lawrence Francis Migliore and Lillian Catherine (nee Muehlhans) Green. Son Alexander Stevens (Lopez), 2 children Jacqueline (Kelly) Jensen, 2 grandchildren Lucia & Cosette, Justin Stevens. Son David Stevens (Lopez), 2 children, Natalie Stevens, Zoey Stevens. Daughter Carrie Stevens 2 children Maxwell Stevens, Kirsten Ulrich. Daughter Kathleen (nee Conley) (Nick) Hill, 4 children Michael Conley, Erik Rodriguez, Danielle Hill, Dominique (nee Hill) (Nathaniel) Blaker. Daughter Jaynemarie Conley, 2 children Brianne Garcia, Sean Bullock. The family would enjoy having Christine's friends celebrate her life.
