Annette Jackson was born October 18,1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Jessie Mae Clark and Leonard “Jack” Jackson; she was the youngest of two daughters. Annette accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early on and was baptized by her paternal grandfather, the late Rev. Isaac Jackson. She remained faithful to her spiritual journey until her death. At the age of 12, Annette migrated with her family to Chicago, Illinois. As a child she played the piano, took ballet lessons, and sang in the church choir. But she much rather preferred riding bikes or sneaking into the garage to play cards with her dad. She graduated from Fenger Academy High School, earned a degree in Computer Programming and later her Illinois Mortgage Lending License. Annette loved improving on commonly used items, math, electronics, gaming, music, and sports cars. Her pastimes included building computers, operating her online businesses, researching the latest technology, discussing stock market trends and friendly betting on sports games. In 2006, she left Chicago to work with FEMA in Texas wanting to help bring relief to the victims affected by hurricane Katrina. It turned out that Annette loved Texas and decided to trade the Chicago winters for the sunny skies of the Lone Star state relocating to Irving, TX. After moving to Texas and completing her tenure with FEMA, she worked as a financial services supervisor for Bank of America until an unfortunate workplace accident forced her into medical retirement. On May 31, 2022, God took Annette by her hand and guided her to paradise. She departed this world with her children by her side and with her in spirit at Temecula Valley hospital. Annette was preceded in death by her father Jack Jackson, stepfather Niles Alexander and sister Carliss Green. Remaining to cherish her memory are her mother, Jessie (Niles) Alexander; four children Shelena (Frank) Andoh, Kiwani Jackson, Kristopher Jackson, and Nikkolaus Jackson; three grandchildren, Franklin III, Kayla and Carter; nephew, Duane; niece, Desiree; great nephews, Duane Jr. , Davon, and Malik; great niece, Myiah; great-great niece, Saniya; one Uncle, Carl Clark; and a host of other family and friends.
